Who is Lauren Bacall?

Lauren Bacall, born Betty Joan Perske on September 16, 1924, in The Bronx, New York, was an iconic American actress and a Hollywood legend. While working as a model, she caught the attention of director Howard Hawks, who saw in her a unique combination of beauty and talent.
