Author Sheri Tepper

Sheri Tepper, born Shirley Stewart Douglas on July 16, 1929, was an American author known for her prolific and imaginative contributions to the science fiction and fantasy genres. Raised in a rural environment in Colorado, Tepper's early years were infused with a deep connection to nature, which would later become a recurring theme in her writing. After completing her education, Tepper embarked on a varied career path, working as a librarian, teacher, and social worker.
